ORG/AGL
The AGL result update released today bodes well enough for Origin.
ORG has the booming LNG business, via APLNG, and is shipping additional cargoes into spot markets at a time of elevated pricing (the good news) yet had been dragged down of late by weaker wholesale electricity prices (the bad news) as had AGL.
If that drag is lifting, as AGL refer to in the above, ORG should likewise have a strong result where both divisions are faring better.
The below does indeed suggest there is some support, with average pricing look better now than at any time over the past 18 months.
