IAG
IAG has settled the larger of the two outstanding cases. After anticipated recoveries, the settlement is not expected to have a material impact on 2027 results. This is a positive outcome as the aggregate face value of the claimed amounts was $2.8bn plus interest.
The remaining proceedings have claims with an aggregate face value of $170m plus interest. While these proceedings remain on foot, the cost to IAG is not expected to be material.
